Podcast

The podcast is a full platform: episodes, seasons, a media library, distribution, a public page and analytics. If you already have a show, you can pull every existing episode from the feed and carry on from here.

From an episode to content: every step

An episode is raw material for more than one thing. This is the order that turns an hour of recording into a newsletter, posts and ideas — without listening back and taking notes.

  1. Bring the episodes in. If the show already exists, “Import episodes” pulls them all from your feed — and it keeps being hosted wherever it is hosted.Episodes →
  2. Let transcription run. It works in the background and takes about as long as the episode; you can keep working meanwhile.
  3. From a transcribed episode you can write a newsletter teaser and Instagram posts. On Instagram that's the episodes anchor — it appears by itself once a podcast is connected.Content creation →
  4. Check the distribution screen: what's live in the listening apps and what's still pending submission. The feed updates itself when an episode goes up.Distribution →
  5. If the podcast has a public page — what you edit is saved as a draft, and only goes out when you publish the changes.

I already have a podcast. Do I have to move it?

No. The episodes screen has “Import episodes”, which pulls everything from your existing feed. The episodes show up with their titles, descriptions and dates.

The show keeps being hosted wherever it's hosted today. The import gives you the episodes as raw material for content and measurement.

What does transcription give me?

A transcribed episode becomes material. From it you get a newsletter teaser, Instagram posts and content ideas — without listening back to yourself and taking notes.

Transcription runs in the background and takes as long as the episode is long. You can keep working meanwhile.

How do I turn an episode into content?

Instagram content creation has a dedicated episodes anchor. Pick an episode and the system writes a post promoting it.

The same in the newsletter: an anchor that produces an episode teaser from the transcript.

That anchor is created automatically once a podcast is connected — you don't set it up.

What is the distribution screen?

The state of your feed and your presence in listening apps — what's live, what's pending submission and what hasn't been sent yet.

The RSS feed is what feeds every app. It updates itself when a new episode goes up.

What's the podcast's public page?

A page gathering your episodes with a player, on your public address. You can send people to it from your bio or an email. You create and edit it in Landing pages: “New page” → Podcast page.

Like every editor here, what you edit is saved as a draft and only becomes visible when you publish the changes.
